First unpack as a leadership team.
Professional Development as a whole staff, explain each assessment – half day as whole school, half day at PLT level, sitting in grades, facilitated, activities. Goal is to be able successfully be able to read and interpret data, identify strengths and weaknesses. Whole school goals – set for that year’s AIP Lit, Num, Engagement
PLT’s – Spread of enthusiasm and experiences, based on vels levels
Team has a leader, who applies/express interest into the role, relationship, communication, coaching skills, understand data, knowledge of student learning and how to increase. Leaders will have PD on how to be an effective PLT leader. PLT leaders meet with the Prin monthly to discuss learning, challenges, minutes and agendas are uploaded to school server for all staff to access.
PLT’s Run weekly, data driven, student learning is the focus, small goals, regularly, achievable, celebrate successes, kept to time, agenda, collaborative, develop mission, values, goals, protocols, persistence. PLT’s will discuss how to share data and set learning goals for students that can be continually reflected upon.

Goal is to use the data to get a picture of the students and then improve teacher practice to close the gap between what a student is capable of and what they actually demonstrate.
